Adrien: I heart Frye.

Y'all know I have a deep and abiding love for Frye (I have: three pairs of pumps, two pairs of sandals, two pairs of boots. Thus, expert.), which is funny because I have zero interest in anything remotely cowboy related and a lot of their boots have a distinct western flair. Luckily, they make all kinds of boots and shoes that have nothing to do with the wild west.

And I want them all.

Recently Frye sent me an email with new fall stuffs and I felt it was my duty to show you what I love the best. This is just my opinion and in no way sponsored by Frye but OMG I WISH IT WAS. (Frye! Please sponsor us. We love you so.)

Anyway, here's what I love for fall (click the photos for more info!)

Dorado

Oh, lordy. These make me all sweaty-palmed.

Harlow Campus Bootie

These are admittedly trrrrrrendy, but I like them. I think they'd look cool with the right pencil skirt and would also look great with skinny jeans.

Shirley over the knee
I kind of like the idea of over-the-knee boots but they're pretty hard to pull off in real life. However, if I were to try to rock the OTK look, these are the boots I'd want in my life.

Carson flat
Freaking crazy adorable. Love the saturated color and they look like they'd be really comfy.

Miranda

Swoon. These remind me of my Frye Liv t-straps but the heel is a little different. I LOVE the color.

Oh hell, now I'm all wanty. Are you a Frye fan? What's your favorite style?

  1. I am officially in love with those red shoes. I do really like Frye shoes, well, the look of them anyway, since I don't own a pair. See, I'm really a cheapskate at heart and I'm *really* rough on shoes and it would just break my heart to buy such a nice pair only to scuff the toe on the very first day I wear them. It sucks being a klutz.

  2. Oh my gosh I need those t-straps. I'm worried I won't be able to squeeze my legs into boots this fall/winter. Or I will look like a beach ball precariously balanced on a pair of boots.

  3. Madame Queen, two things:

    1. Frye shoes are pretty sturdy (which is part of why I love them.)

    2. I find when I *do* spend more for a pair of shoes I automatically take better care of them.

Emily, Frye boots are,on the whole, fairly generous in the calf. I think anyone can wear boots - they just have to find the right pair.

  4. Love the grey ankle boots. Trendy but they haven't seemed to go away in years. Yes yes with skinnies! Like the heels being a bit sturdy.

  5. I can't remember the last time I wanted a pair of shoes as badly as I want these: http://www.zappos.com/frye-sage-trapunto-turquoise

But since I'm a boring suburban housewife, I have no idea where I'd ever wear a shoe like that. Plus, that's a high heel, and I'd definitely fall.

I need to start my own fashion blog, one where I show everything I would buy if I wasn't a boring suburban housewife.

  6. I LOVE my Frye boots.

and wear them ALL the time. that's mostly why i love them, because they go with everything, and just keep looking better as they get more worn and scuffed.

  7. Sorry, I wasn't clear. I wear boots. A lot. They're just all sized for my usual chicken calves, and I won't be buying any for this fall to fit my extra large pregnant calves, never to be worn again. So maybe this will be the year of the bootie for me
