They are stuck on my feet, y'all. SORRY. The dress I'm wearing is one of those should-be-easy-but-not-so-much type things. The sleeves make it difficult to layer so the weather has to be...medium. And it's really low cut, so I have to pin it. And yeah, I don't know. I like the color? How about that. Here:
dress: Max Studio
jacket: Banana Republic (
similar)
shoes: Chie Mihara
bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Hillier Hobo
necklace: Charming Charlie (
similar)
bracelet: Fisticuffs Leather
If I could wear open toed shoes to work, they'd never leave my feet either. I love 'em.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried a little cami under the dress? for modesty and layering sake? the color is lovely on you. I love fisticuffs! badass and a comfortable accessory!
ReplyDeleteOr for colder weather a thin, longsleeve t-shirt? The color and cut are great on you!
ReplyDeleteI've done the thin, long sleeve shirt and it works okay, but tends to get bunchy and ride up. Same with camisoles - I hate them.
ReplyDeleteCamisole bra? I resisted but now I kinda like them. Dress looks good as it is!
ReplyDeleteThat is a possibility! Do you have a brand recommendation?
ReplyDeleteI have no problem with seeing these shoes again, they are still adorable and will remain adorable. If you're going to get a cami bra, please stay away from the 'Cami Secret'. I don't know whether it's any good, but it looks like a boob-bib and it creeps me out.
ReplyDeleteI dont care if you wear the shoes again - they're great!
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes. Just sew a snap button on so you don't have to pin it. No need to worry about an under layer. I like the dress as is. Color is great on you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress ! x
