Shopping Report: (Near) Future Goals.

You guys, I didn't buy a single thing except groceries this past weekend so I have nothing to report. However, I do have a few things I have filed under "near-future possible purchases" that I thought I'd tell you about them. Probably no real surprises here but it's Monday and raining and ugh. Why not.

Okay, I posted about this damn Miu Miu bag last month and ever since then I've thought about it pretty obsessively. The price was at it's lowest back around Memorial Day so I am just biding my time and saving my pennies until it drops again. It's just a LOT to spend on a bag I can't return. (Did anyone buy it? If so, tell me everything.)

I also keep thinking about these Everlane Day Glove flats. They just look so squishy and comfortable and I love the bright poppy red color. Hmm. I am mostly into sandals in the summer so this might be a fall purchase (unless they go on sale before then.)

Y'all, I want an Emerson Fry caftan and it's all Marianne's fault. She has a couple of them and they're so beautiful and comfortable and I don't even know where I'd wear it but I DEFINITELY want one in my life. Maybe specifically this one. This is a want, not a need, but ugh. So floaty!

Okay, so you know I love my Athleta cargo pants and shell top, right? So now I'm checking out their dresses and this one looks interesting but is juuuuust a price point or two higher than what I normally spend for such things. But, I wonder if it wouldn't be a perfect hot weather dress? Light and breezy and easy to wear. Maybe.

And finally, there's this little nugget. This is exactly the thing I'll buy myself one day to celebrate... something. I'll know when that day arrives. It's the kind of jewelry I would just wear all the time and never take off ever, right? Right. Sigh.

  1. I bought that Miu Miu bag. It is a gorgeous bag -- I love it. Not the easiest to access, but i have gotten used to it. I wish you could see it in person and then decide for yourself because we all have such different things we are looking for/need from our purses.

    1. Thank you! That's part of what's holding me back -buying something I haven't seen in person and can't return. I also wondered about access, but that bothers me less.
