Adrien: Stumped Again.

A while ago I bought this open layered cardigan at Gap, and while it's great with jeans and the jegging/boot thing, I've been struggling a bit to make it work for the office. I think it'd look great belted, but I don't seem to own that belt. (Seriously, I tried all of mine. All. Of. Them. All stupid.) I really like Lara's solution of using a kilt pin, but I currently don't have one of those either. So, whatever, this time I just let it hang:

    I think the sweater's really cute, but yeah, you don't have any waist definition with the skirt pulling it away from your body.
    Do you have any brooches/hair clips you can rig with safety pins?

    No, I really don't! but I think I found a belt that will work and I am also going to order a kilt pin.

    That double layer sweater is really cute! Is it warm?

    I think it looks really cute all drapey over the dress. But I am a lover of easy drapey-ness. It also looks like it will be great pinned.

    It's not that warm, to be honest, but it's pretty sheer.

    The pins are so versatile. 2 come in most packs. You can use them on scarves and all sorts of things!

    You can also just try a brooch to close your new cardi, I like the color and it looks really comfy!

    I have the same issue with open cardis -- so great until a gust or whatever comes to catch it. Plus I want it to look clean. Love the brooch idea suggested above.

    Do you guys know I don't actually own a brooch? I just don't wear them. But! I have ordered some kilt pins and also got a new belt that might work.

    I'm thinking a brooch of dress/sweater clips would fix that with a lovely touch of something special at the waist.
