BUY THIS: Eight Things I Want From Credo.

I haven't ordered any new beauty stuff in...a while and I'm starting to get that itch. Also, a lot of my products needs to be replaced because they're old and/or have been discontinued. I'm pretty bummed that my favorite tinted CC cream by Supergoop has been discontinued and replaced by something everyone seems to hate. I mean, that's great. I was considering trying the Ilia Serum Skin Tint that everyone is yammering about which led me to Credo which led me to this list:

Do you use this? Do you love it? Marianne is pretty sure I'll hate it but I'm curious.

And this. WHY DO I WANT THIS. It's just the packaging, right? Or is it life-changing?

I've talked the coconut bath soak before (love) but oooh, there's a body polish! I am dying to try this.

I am working my way up to wearing lipstick again and this tinted balm seems like a nice in-between.

Are we still using primer? I suspect I probably should be using primer. This one looks interesting?

Lord, I love a kit of mini-sized things and I also love Kosas. This one looks good for summer.

I loved the rms beauty oil and now there's an evening version! I might have to try it.

My usual moisturizer isn't cutting it out here with the lack of humidity and my face is so dry!
Maybe this will fix it?

  1. Hello from a fellow dry-faced person. Charlotte Palermino totally changed my skin with two tricks: 1) apply moisturizer to damp skin (i use a spray bottle) so the moisturizer has something to lock in and 2) layer face oil over moisturizer at night. My skin has never looked better!

    1. I'm already doing these things! I think my face is just freaking out over the climate difference.

    2. I too find the limited humidity in the PNW summer hard on my skin (and hair actually too). The good part though is that since winter here is the 'wet season' there is way more humidity then than you'll have been used to!

Maybe it would work to use some of your usual winter skin tips from back East for the summer in the PNW? Though with some caution I suppose since the temps will be warmer - or, at least where I am north of you,'warmer' is probably more accurate :)

  2. I tried the Ilia Super Serum in the Sephora store and I felt like it made my face look greasy. I think there is a fine line between "luminous" and "shiny" and I think I would rather err on the less luminous side, but YMMV. I've been using the EltaMd UV Elements tinted sunscreen but it's slightly more sheer than I would like.

    1. Yeah, greasy is not the look I'm going for. Thank you!

  3. I really love the Ilia super serum but I have dry skin. The Westman Atelier foundation is beautiful but didn't work on my dry skin (and I found that the highlighter barely showed at all on my skin).

    2. I also love the Ilia Skin tint, but my skin is bone dry. I would think if you had normal, or oily, you would HATE it.

  4. The Ilia Serum is great for dry skin. And it was great in the DC Metro area this winter, now that it has gotten humid it might be too dewey for me. The Westman Atelier foundation and blush are amazing, but full disclosure, I didn't use them with the Ilia.
