Adrien: Rome wasn't built in a day

Well, that was a good run. I had two solid weeks of "Whee, I want nothing! There is nothing I need or want!" and, yeah. That's over. Even though I'm trying not to look, things keep finding me. Awesome things. Things like this, which I saw in Lucky Magazine:

Satchels by Michael Kors at ShopStyle
 MICHAEL Michael Kors Large Satchel

And THESE which kill me dead:

Shoes & Boots by Frye at ShopStyle

Frye Miranda Chelsea boot

(They found me via Wardrobe Review's latest entry in which she also wants these boots. I actually made a sad little squeaky bird noise when I saw them. I blame her entirely.)

Oh, and these, which I've wanted for a while now:

Sunglasses by Marc by Marc Jacobs at ShopStyle

Marc by Marc Jacobs Aviator Sunglasses

And THIS, which showed up in the form of browser advertisement:

Day Dresses by LOFT at ShopStyle

LOFT Striped Sweater Dress

but I was actually relieved to discover it's made of wool, so it's off the list.  I did check Banana Republic's site (JUST FOR THE SAKE OF THE BLOG) and they're still boring me senseless, so nothing there. A relief.

  1. So are you saying you bought those items or you just want them? Cause those are two completely different things. Just think, there are only two more weeks left of your no shopping ban and then you'll have something to look forward to!

  2. Oh, I just want them. I haven't bought a thing! I just was enjoying a rare couple of weeks of not wanting anything, but that's over. I can't really afford the bag or the boots, so I'll probably just keep wanting.

  3. Well, you were still doing better than I am! Because I've been wanting AND buying. I finally picked up from my mom's the shoes I bought from your other site. LOVE THEM! They fit perfectly. The heel is a teensy bit higher than I normally wear, but the padding in the sole makes them very comfy.

  4. Yay! I'm glad they work for you! It's a high heel, but the strap keeps it more stable, I think.

  5. I love the LOFT dress most of all, and I love anything wool. I seek it out and rarely find. *Hate* cotton sweaters, esp. if "chunky" (aka frumpy 'n' lumpy).

  6. I don't mind wool as long as it's not next to the skin. A wool dress is basically my version of a hair shirt- pure itchy torture.

  7. You weirdo. Hee. But I will actually scratch myself raw. Can't. Handle.
