Marianne: Bare Legs.

Put on your sunglasses and brace yourselves, because it got above 70 and I decided it was time to set my legs free. Mostly I wanted to show off the AMAZING dress I found at TJMaxx (and it was time to bring my beloved Chie Mihara yellow wedges out of storage). TJMaxx has been killing it, y'all*. In addition to this Marc by Marc Jacobs dress they had Equipment, Vince, James Perse, Joie, and more. Get on it.
Anyway, this dress! It's the Jamie Dress from Marc by Marc Jacobs, and if you love the print you can still get it in a kicky romper. Snort. The dress itself is from last year, so it's no longer available online (though there are a BUNCH of inexpensive and adorable coral shirt dresses out right now). I did find this Marc Jacobs shirt dress and literally can't stop staring at it. I see Zuul. Do you see Zuul?
I love the subtle faded polka dots worked into the geometric floral pattern. Perhaps you would like this pattern in a kind of naked looking swimsuit? I'm sorry. Anyway, the dress is a gorgeous silk cotton, though I did switch out the belt for one of my own, because I wasn't feeling it. God this outfit made me feel like spring is the most glorious season of all. Though next time I will iron it so the collar stays open a bit more. It looks a little mumsy here, yes?
*TJMaxx did not pay for this post but if they would like to I am SO DOWN. Call me, love you, xoxo.

  1. Really cute dress! I'm not ready to bare the legs. Where's the self tanner? :-)

  2. I had a super cute bikini with small red flowers on a white background... until i found out that from a distance the colors blended into a pinky tone that was a near match for my skintone. naked looking swimsuit for real

  3. I have a question!! Do you wear a slip? My mother was a stickler for the suckers - and I feel most dresses are quite thin.....would love to know what you gals do!
Thank you (you look adorable and I am inspired!)

    1. I'm not with this one--it's a pretty sturdy cotton silk blend--but I am actually in the market for one! I have a half slip I wear a lot but I'd like a full length one. I know Adrien is a big fan of slips, too!

    2. I swear by Gap slips and almost always wear one, but it really depends on the dress.

  4. That dress is just PERFECT, and I have the same exact belt, I think. It was an impulse by at Target, but it's a little worker bee, isn't it?! Your hair is gorgeous. All the compliments!
