Adrien: Mostly Old Stuff.

I've worn this BCBG dress a million times and always say the same thing - it's weird, it's not terribly flattering, but UGH, it's so easy! You just throw it on with whatever and you're good to go. There's something to be said for that:

My friend Ashley once said I'm the only person she knows who can pull off wearing a python print dress to work. I disagree and so does Diane Von Furstenberg. (Seriously, how pretty is that dress?) Something like this LRL sheath is perfect for the office and so is this Three Dots shirtdress which I kind of want now. Thanks, blog.  I also think this Cooper & Ella dress is extremely nice, though it might be too fancy for work. So, python. Give it a chance! It's the new leopard print or something.

Here are the details. As with stripes, I think a bold print needs big jewelry and this Ann Taylor tassel is the biggest thing I got. It is significant and heavy and I dig it. AT still has some tassel action going on and I'm especially intrigued by this tassel bib necklace. That could be cool, right? If you're feeling fancy I think this Kenneth Jay Lane pendant is really cool. This other KJL tassel is more pared down but the price is right! My bracelet is an encrusted version of the Giles and Brother cortina cuff.

I threw on a carnigan swedder like I generally do. This is my Philosophy draped cardigan that I bought at Marshall's or TJ Maxx last year. I can find mine online but this one at TJ Maxx is really similar. Really, you should just go there and paw through the racks. They have a ton of similar drapey nonsense for minimal dollars.

Here's where I torment you with more things you can't buy anymore. This is my awesome blue MBMJ Globetrotter Kirsten bag that occasionally pops up on eBay but is otherwise gone. I'm not crazy about the new pale blue MJ has out right now but you can get this glorious turnlock tote on sale and this MJ Ligero Nano Ninja isn't bad either! And holy crap, someone buy this Saffiano Zipper Tote! That is a deal.

Finally, my shoes. I'm wearing my Chie Mihara Serpan heels which are about as high heeled as things get around here. I adore them! Money well spent. There's not much like them out there but this pair of Miz Mooz pumps have a similar vintage flair. I also think this pair of Chie mary jane pumps has a lot of potential but my brain is all, THIS PAIR PLEASE. Shut up, brain, nobody asked you.
