Marianne: Swedish Hasbeen Peep-Toe High Sandals

New shoes new shooooooes!Okay fine, I've had these since NOVEMBER, but this was the longest winter ever in history so I've only just been able to wear them. These are the Swedish Hasbeen Peep Toe High clog sandals (not the Super High, which are also cute but I don't think I could manage at this stage in my pregnancy).

I was nervous about these, because the leather is SUPER stiff and I was just sure they were going to shred up my feet until I broke them in. But they fit so perfectly (I'm wearing a 37.5, but I would say they run a bit narrow), that they don't rub at all. Somehow Swedish Hasbeen took a block of wood and super hard leather and made a shoe I can walk in all day.

Did I mention they are also just super freaking cute? I can't remember the last time I got this many compliments on a pair of shoes. This particular style seems to be sold out in red, but this style is pretty much the exact same.

  1. Too weird: I bought these same shoes (although from Lotta instead of Hasbeen)--in red, peep toe, clog sandal, with the woven medallion thingie on the front--months ago, and have been waiting to wear them, and I AM wearing them, today, for the first time. We are red clog sandal sisters!

    2. I love them. They're RED. Also, surprisingly comfy footbed. The leather, as you said, is a little stiff. But since my toes can peek out, they're not rubbing against the leather in the front. Just a little on the sides--but no big deal.

      Yours look great on you!

  2. Seeing you in this outfit reminds me that I have that same Forever 21 dress! As soon as it gets warm enough, I need to wear it!

  3. I have the same ones! I ran a rasp around the inside of them before I wore them in hopes of scuffing off any scratchy bits, which helped, too. They really, really are so cute. I actually want another pair in another colour now, too because I have a thousand pairs of red shoes already.
