Adrien: New/Old Outfit.

Outfit time! I kind of wasn't planning to photograph this because it seemed overly simple and not very exciting, but once I got a look at the photos I was really pleased. This People Tree dress is one I've worn a few times before and, while it's super comfortable and I like how simple it is, it never really did much for me.

Then looked at my old outfit pics wearing it and cracked up. I shrunk the crap out of this dress! It fits differently (read: tighter and shorter) and I like it more. Take that however you need to. It's not available anymore but this PT dress is similar and so is this one! I also threw an old Banana Republic jacket over it which didn't suck:

And hey, what's that on my arm? This, my friends, is what happens when you get bored and start trolling eBay for ancient Marc Jacobs bags. You put a lowball bid on one and the next thing you know it's yours. Oops. It's a Stella in maroon and it's gorgeous! (Except for the suede lining which was filthy! What the hell did the former owner do? Tote livestock around in it?)

Anyway, if you want a cheap, slightly filthy Marc Jacobs bag of your very own, they are going for nothing on eBay right now. Detail shot:

My shoes are old Chie Mihara (but get these instead! Git em! Or these!) and my bracelet is Giles & Brother, the encrusted version of this style. I love their stuff so much.

  1. I bought the Frye Bella Bella Belt booties you dangled in front of me the other day (bad girl) and do not want to take them off my feet even though it has warmed back up. Hope you get some kick back on those, they are great shoes and a wonderful pre-birthday gift for myself. Good price too. Now I just need some cold air sent back down South.

  2. Great outfit post! What a great find that bag is... but seriously, those Chie shoes make every and any outfit! (And all your Frye boots!) ~Anon. L
