Adrien: More Gap Dress Action

When first I bought my Sam Edelman Trina sandals I had a reader (hi Carly!) ask if I'd wear them with dresses and if so, uh, how? What kind? My answer: The kind that are probably too short to be truly work-appropriate, so you wear them with a very low heel and hope for the best. Heh. Like this:


I talked about this Gap shift dress here and was sure it would be a dud. It's not! Holy shit! I like it quite a bit and I think it's begging for awesome yellow sandals, which I don't own quite yet. Hmm.

    Hi Adrien!
    I actually went ahead and bought the sandals in the white/natural colorway (I liked that it had a "silver" heel). I have been mainly wearing them with pants so far. But I wore them on a trip to Atlanta and they were comfortable and also impressed my friend who specifically commented on my fancy shoes.
