Stuff We Like: Hey, it's April Already.

Hello! It's been nearly a month since our last Stuff We Like, so here's some more stuff for you to watch, listen to and buy (and by "buy" I mean, "enrich your life" obviously. Sheesh.) Here we go:

This Podcast Marianne Highly Recommends.
When Marianne first told me about the Normal Gossip podcast I was like, why would I want to hear gossip about people I don't know? Turns out, I TOTALLY WANT TO HEAR GOSSIP ABOUT PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW. Normal Gossip presents a juicy friend-of-a-friend story every episode and it's so ridiculously entertaining and fun. It's one of those podcasts where I talk out loud while listening like, "GIRL. THAT IS A RED FLAG."  Also, the guests are great! So far my favorites have been Sam Sanders (It's Been A Minute) and Laci Mosley (Scam Goddess.)

This Blanket That You Need For Yourself.
We are getting a new sofa so I used that as an excuse to retire our truly sad sofa throw blankets. After searching around for something more elegant, I bought this faux fur ombre throw from West Elm with, I'll be honest, fairly low expectations. It arrived earlier this week and now I basically have to fight everyone, including the cats, to wrap its soft softness around me. It's looks luxurious and expensive and feels like you're surrounded by baby bunnies. It's on sale right now! Go get one and hide it for your own personal use.

This Scrub That Will Make You Glow
I swear I'd mentioned Saturday Skin Rub-A-Dub Refining Peel Gel (on sale at Anthro!) on the blog but I can't find it so maybe I just imagined it. Anyway, I got this this scrub (peel, whatever) in an Allure box ages ago and it's freaking amazing. It's not harsh or gritty, instead the product kind of balls up into soft little bits and takes your flakes with it while you (gently!) rub it around your face. I use it once a week and it really helps a with the flakiness caused by tretinoin and leaves me with smooth, glowing skin without irritation. (Other reviews will claim the balls of stuff are dead skin but it's just the product. People are so dramatic.)

This Show You Really Should Watch
Have you watched Life & Beth yet? Y'all, it's a slow burn (I wasn't sure I liked it at first) but it's the kind of show you'll think about for weeks after you watch it. Amy Schumer pulls from her own life to make a show that's both tragic and funny and full of amazing talent. Michael Rapaport is outstanding as her father and there are some bit parts (MRI DJ) that still make me laugh just to think about. Even if you're not a huge Amy Schumer fan, this one is not to be missed.

This Kindle Hack Marianne Discovered
Y'all. Y'ALL. If you have a Kindle with ads, this is going to change your life. Are you super tired of getting creepy ads for Bossy Billionaire Grump or whatever? Did you know you can just pay $20 to Amazon and they will switch you over to an ad-free Kindle? This way, when you open your Kindle case your book is just THERE WAITING FOR YOU. It's magical. And, if you're considering buying a Kindle, just go for the ad-free version. Pay the extra money now because, trust me, you'll end up doing it later. Stuff I Like: Spring Edition.

Hey, it's spring! Yay! Here's some new stuff I like and also some spring cleaning product suggestions because that's not weird at all, is it? Okay.

A Little Bit Of Spring Cleaning Help.
Here are a few of my favorite products to freshen up your closet! First, the amazing Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam. If you have leather shoes, boots, bags, etc. that are looking a little faded and dry? You need this stuff. It's a miracle product and one tin will last forever. I also love a little bottle peppermint Dr. Bronner's castile soap for cleaning my makeup brushes and sponges. It works like a champ and leaves behind some minty freshness. For hand-washing your cashmere sweaters before putting them away, I very much recommend Eucalan No Rinse detergent. It's super gentle and you don't have to rinse 800 times because it's a no-rinse formula! (I still rinse, but just once.) Finally, for stinky workout clothes, I swear by a long soak in Rockin' Green. It's a disgusting process, but it definitely gets the stink out.

These No-Show Socks I Bought For Blog Science.
Listen, I like Bombas no-show socks because they're soft and stretchy and feel like real socks.  And mostly they stay up! But, for some reason they don't work with my Madewell sneakers, which look best with no socks. So the 800th time I was served an online ad for ONDO socks, I snapped and bought them. Okay, first, they STAY PUT. They 100% stay put. ONDO aren't traditional socks, they're built like little booties, if you will, so they fit your foot perfectly like a slipper sock. They aren't perfect, though. I wish they weren't quite so thin and they're riddled with seams but they do stay up and that's enough for me.

This Show About Getting Un-Stuck.
I wasn't familiar with Bridget Everett before watching Somebody Somewhere, but my sister recommended it and I was basically in love with the entire cast (Jeff Hiller! A delight!) by the end of the first episode. It's hilarious, tragic, quietly midwestern and very much about grief, recovery and trusting yourself and the people who are there for you. Oof, I loved it. Just watch it.

This Book That I Didn't Want to Finish.
Can you handle another Mhairi McFarlane review? I just really love her books for when I need a not-too-fluffy romance that's really about other things. Just Last Night is about friendship and loss and missed chances and I seriously started rationing it because I was tearing through it and wanted it to last. Mhairi is just so good at writing about people who feel like real people and ooh, there's a good romance too. Enjoy. (Sorry about the crying. There will be crying.)

And, A New Blog Page!
If you look up top there, I've added a Favorites page. This is a place where I can add widgets of all our favorite crap, including beauty products, Madewell goodness, etc. There's more to come (and I need to figure out a better way to organize it) but if there are any specific lists that you'd like to see, let me know.

Stuff I Like: A Fresh Start.

Hello! We're a month into this year and even though everything is still feeling kind of pandemic-y and terrible, it's still a fresh start, right? Here are some things I like that are helping me feel fresh:

This Tarot Reading That Gave Me New Perspective.
Blog reader shout-out! Katie has been a reader and online friend for a while and recently she launched Quiet Tarot, a tarot reading service for the listener. I signed up for an audio reading at the beginning of the year and got a voice note describing the cards as she pulled them and what they meant. It was really needed (I'm in a weird place right now with my jorb) and incredibly helpful in sorting out some feelings I'd buried pretty deep. Katie is lovely and talented and you can trust she'll do right by you. (And you should totes follow her on Instagram.)

This Show That Makes me Feel My Feelings.
I know a lot of you already watch After Life but if you don't, this show is a gem in the way of a gorgeous ribbon of opal trapped in a big ugly rock. It's Ricky Gervais at his best - funny and bitter and full of the pain of love and grief. It's SO GOOD, you guys. The third (and final) season was released a few weeks ago but if you're new to the show, definitely start at the beginning and prepare to be completely emotionally wrecked (in a good cathartic way.)

Shopping Updates I Feel You Should Know About.
I have wanted a small belt bag for a while (I do have my Think Royln bag which can be worn that way but I don't) but I'd been resistant because yeah, it's a fanny pack with better PR but they make them so adorable now! Marianne has this cutie from Patagonia but I fell hard for the camo Lululemon belt bag I posted last week. It arrived and it's PERFECT. It's very small so it doesn't add bulk but it's the exact right size for your phone, keys, chapstick and a card case. It's got a lil zippy pocket on the back for stowing money or a credit card and a few little interior mesh pockets. Perfect for walks or thrifting or just when you want to be hands-free. It comes in a bunch of solid colors but I am so into my weird camo version that I'm planning outfits around it. Who even am I.

Also! As reported, I bought the Vuori Performance Joggers and I've been wearing them an obsessive amount. I am wearing them right now, in fact. So soft, so cute. So worth it.

Oh My God, Oh My God, My Feet.
Marianne and I have both deployed the famous Summer Foot and I'm currently in the molting stage. It's horrifying and fun and I promise it doesn't hurt. Marianne's original review is here but fair warning, it's gross. But seriously, I know you want to try it and now is the time because when you're in the peeling stage you cannot wear sandals because your feet will gross out everyone and make babies cry. Do it now when you can still hide your lil hooves.

This App That I Didn't Know I Desperately Needed.
Over the holidays I bought something online from a small business that used Shopify for their checkout and somehow ended up accidentally subscribing. At first I was annoyed and then I downloaded the Shop app (it's free) and it CHANGED MY LIFE. If you buy or sell online a lot like I do you 100% need this app. It scrapes your email for tracking numbers and tracks everything for you in real-time. No longer do you have to search your email for that Madewell tracking number, Shop has it already and will let you know exactly where your item is in the world. It also keeps track of all my Poshmark sales which is immensely helpful. You can also shop some of your faves through the app but I haven't done that yet. Anyway, 10/10, highly recommend the Shop app.

Stuff I Like: Is It STILL Winter. Why.

Winter is not my season at all. I am pretty over it and my recent trip to Southern California reminded me that, oh yeah, the sun is SO GOOD YOU GUYS. I really miss it. Anyway, here are a few things I like that have been getting me through it:

I Am Still Into These Vitamin Packs.
I've written about my love of Care/Of vitamin packs before and I am still at it. Sometimes my "stuff" love is fleeting but not with this. You take a quiz, pick your vitamins/supplements and they package them into nifty little daily packets with your name on them. I mean. I have never been so good at being good at taking my vitamins. They're also great for travel or easy to stick in a lunch box or whatever. I have been very pleased overall. I am about to re-up my choices and might add some fish oil in there because these creaky joints of mine are not cute. Anyway, if you're interested, use my link for 50% off your first order! (full disclosure: I get discount credits when you purchase through my link.)

This Lip Mask That Actually Does Something.
I got the Ilia Lip Wrap Treatment Mask for Christmas in this little kit and thought it was a lovely lip balm but then read up on it and realized it's actually a treatment! Most lip "masks" are just fancy balm but this is a fancy balm that exfoliates while you sleep. No more cracked, chapped lips for meeeee. It has a very faint lavender-chamomile scent which I find very soothing. I will definitely re-purchase in the full size when the mini is gone.

This Re-Read That Was Even Better Than I Remembered.
Some folks don't like to re-read books, even if they love them. Not me! I like to wait a while and re-read a book a love because I feel like I get more out of it each time. I first read The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield back in 2009 and completely loved it. It has everything! It's a darkish, gothic tale that takes place in Yorkshire. It's a story-within-a story and also a book about the love of books and reading. I'd waited long enough to forget the details so re-reading it was familiar but still had an element of mystery. My review: It's SO GOOD. (Also, I didn't know there was a movie version! With Olivia Coleman! WHAT.)

These Socks I Do Not Wear For Running.
I know I've talked about my love for Bombas before but these calf-length performance running socks are THE BEST for wearing with boots in the winter. They look cute scrunched, have no poke-y seams and will hug your foot without sliding around. They are worth every penny. For actual fitness, I love these for the gym and these are cute for around the house and very fashion when worn with Birk clogs. Ooh, also, I got a pair of the gripper slippers as a gift and they are so cozy! Perfect for keeping your toes warm while watching TV on the couch. Yay for socks. (Hush, Marianne.) If you've never tried Bombas, my link will get you 25% off your first order! (full disclosure: I get sock credits if you purchase through my link. My feet thank you!)

That's all I have for today, except I want to thank you all for your sweet birthday wishes on Monday. Thank you so much for reading this dumb blog we've been writing for way too long. We truly have the best readers. *heart eyes emoji*

Stuff We Like: End of Year Edition.

There's no real theme here but this is probably the last Stuff We Like for 2021. It's a bit all over the place but that's the charm, right? Here we go:

This Fancy Nail Creme I Can't Stop Using.
My hands are always a disaster but in the winter months things get super sad. My nails crack and break and my cuticles are beyond dry. So, when Marianne gifted me this insanely fancy Dior Creme Abricot nail cream I was like, I WILL USE THIS. And I have been! I slather it on every night before bed (it's sticky but stays put and sinks in) and already my finger tips look better and healthier. It is scented in that rich lady Dior way but the scent fades quickly. ALSO, the packing is very luxe and looks pretty on my bedside table. And, if you order directly from Dior it'll come with very nice samples and a beautiful bag. (And free shipping!)

These Phone Accessories I Truly Love.
Okay, this is kind of a repeat entry but y'all, I've been using my Burga case paired with a Phone Loop for over a year and both are still 100% the best. In fairness, I'm on my second Loop because they do get kind of grungy but I love that it doesn't budge, I can place it exactly where I want and it lies completely flat. It's a really simple thing but it works. They're on Amazon now but there are a ton more options on the Loops website. As for my Burga case, it wasn't cheap but it's been going strong for a year and still looks great! I used to only buy Speck cases but they always broke and aren't that cute. Burga cases are cute! So much cute! And they hold up.

These Joggers That Are An Excellent Vuori Dupe.
Okay, listen, I have a Vuori crewneck sweatshirt (see pic above) that I wear A LOT and I love it and it was worth every penny, etc. I very much want a pair of Performance Joggers to go with it but then I discovered Quince made a dupe and I ordered a pair ($34 instead of $84!) and y'all, they are so good. I can't say they're Vuori good but I will say that I'm mad when I can't wear them because they're in the wash. Super soft and comfy and very cute! The perfect at-home lounge pants. (Now, if only they came in dark camo...)

This Documentary That Lives Up To The Hype.
Okay, so I love the Beatles a lot and spent most of the summer re-acquainting myself with various later albums so I was very excited about the new documentary, Get Back. It's directed by Peter Jackson (who's not known for, um, editing) and is made from 80 hours of footage leftover from the from the Let It Be documentary. It's three episodes, nearly eight hours long in total (I know) and most of that time is just watching them noodle around in the studio. If you've ever dated a musician this might make you want to die on the spot, BUT, if you keep watching, you literally get to see the birth of some of the best songs ever written. Also, it clears up a lot of the rumors and makes clearer some of the tensions that led to their breakup.

Also! One of the best parts about it is the fashion. YOU GUYS. There are so many wild outfits (purple suits! green fringe jackets! Ringo in floral! George Martin being suave as hell!) and they just keep coming. It's all so good. Some of the greatest outfits were documented here, but really, you should see it for yourself.

This Savory Cookie Recipe of Marianne's I Can't Believe I Never Shared.
These cheddar shortbread cookies are a tiny legend among Marianne's friends and I make them this time every year. You will need a stand mixer for this but they are SO FREAKING GOOD and perfect paired with a glass of wine. Marianne has a "cookies!" highlight on her IG with directions and tips (and some great substitutions - she exclusively uses dried cherries now but I always do cranberries. You do you!) so check that out. Now, here's the recipe:

Have a great holiday, everyone! Go make some cookies and watch that Beatles documentary.

Stuff We Like: A Marianne/Adrien Edition!

Hello! Today we both have stuff we like and we're gonna tell you about it. First, two from Marianne:

The One Where I'm Late To Athleisure
So yeah, everyone in the world is ready to wear real clothes again and I’m over here “discovering” the joy of leggings after 19+ months of wearing jeans and dresses like a CHUMP. Anyway! I tried a pricey set from Girlfriend Collective and like them fine, but my current favorites are these ribbed leggings from Aerie ($27!). They feel like you tried, and I have the matching longline sports bra too (on sale for $14!), and turns out a matching legging set brings me as much joy as a fancy dress does. Who knew?? (You all knew. I know.)  PS from Adrien: She wears this henley over the bra and it's real cute the end.

This Book I Would Make Everyone Read If I Had A Book Club
Something about the fall puts me in the mood for books that are a bit more twisty and thriller-y than my summertime beach reads, you know? Well, if you’re in the mood for a book that combines travel with suspense and is just written SO smartly, you must read Who Is Maud Dixon. After three in a row that featured children in peril and mothers ranging from slightly to very unhinged (Little Secrets, The Push, and Verity if you’re in the market), it was refreshing to read a different kind of thriller. I don’t want to give anything away because the twists are so good, but I couldn’t recommend this more. I really hope someone makes it into a TV show or a movie.

And, two from Adrien:

This Mirror So I Don't Look Like a Mole Person
One thing I hate about hotels is the lack of any kind of good makeup mirror/lighting situation. I can't tell you how many times I've been half leaning out a window with my compact trying to see to put on eyeliner. So, I started researching lighted travel mirrors and found this one on Amazon. It arrived and it's bigger than I thought - the size of a chunky salad plate - but for a two week trip, I think it's going to be a life-saver. I love that it has a magnified side (the only way I can properly mascara) and it cranks up so you can put it on a surface and not have to lean out of a window. (I'm kidding about that. Sort of.)

I Did Not Buy The Stupidly Expensive Containers
Do those cute beehive-shaped magnetic containers follow you around the internet too? Don't Google "magnetic toiletry containers" whatever you do. Anyway, whenever I'm going on a big trip I lose my mind and search for THE PERFECT THINGS to streamline my crap and every time I end up just shoving everything I own in my toiletries bag and hoping for the best. This year I bought this set of tiny dropper bottles and they are perfect for serums and stuff you don't use a lot of but don't want to be without. So, if you currently have four different The Ordinary serums you're using, these are for you! I did have to make labels, though.

That's it for today! If you have any recs for us, please leave a comment.

Another Impulse Candle Purchase.

Before I left town I went to Bluemercury (in person!) with the intention of just buying my favorite moisturizer which I was nearly out of. 20 minutes later I left with my moisturizer, a bunch of fancy candles and a very sweet sample bag. Apparently it had been too long since I got to shop in a store in person and I couldn't handle it. But, I am very happy with what I bought and I figured a new house deserves a couple of fancy candles, right? Sure.

I've raved about Lafco candles before and the Rosemary Eucalyptus is a favorite. It's very green and herbal and not sweet at all, which I appreciate. Plus, the handblown container is gorgeous. I also got:

Champagne is gingery and fruity and smells like an understated celebration-in-a-candle (or something like that. I don't work for you, Lafco. But call me!) Most of the candles come in a few sizes and they also have a customizable discovery trio of minis which is a nice way to try them out. Pro tip: foil tent those babies to make them last longer!

If you're tempted, you can go through my link for $15 off a purchase of $100+ (full disclosure, I also get $15 credit.) Finally, because we know you all aren't necessarily looking to spend big bucks on fancy candles, Marianne's latest Target fav is this one:

She said it’s very pineapple forward with a little herbiness thrown in, not an intense throw but just really nice and fresh. And the huge 3-wick candle is all of $10!

Stuff We Like: Podcasts.

Hey, home-bound friends! We had a request for some podcast recs so here is a giant list of what we're listening to lately. Feel free to leave a rec for us in the comments!

Adrien's Picks:

Some of my recs are new but most of these have been posted on Stuff I Like at some point. I just figured it would be nice to have them all in one place. (I left out a few that I previously recommended because I stopped listening for...reasons.)

Were You Raised By Wolves?: This is an etiquette podcast and it's highly entertaining. The hosts discuss various etiquette topics and also answer listener questions. It's informative but also really fun.

Everything is Fine: I talked about this new podcast for women over 40 a few days ago but y'all, it's really good. This week's episode is about anger, which I think most of us can relate to, yes?

This Is Joy & Claire: I've been listening to this one for years! It was formerly called Girls Gone WOD but it's strayed so far from its Crossfit roots that they recently rebranded. It's two friends talking about all kinds of life topics - mental health, wellness, marriage, parenting, etc. A true girlfriend's conversation. I really like them both and tend to listen to this one immediately when it's released each week.

Love It or Leave It: I got real tired of the Pod Save The World bromance but Jon Lovett's spinoff is still a good time. He works hard to have a diverse panel each week and it's really funny.

Fat Mascara: Okay, this one has become a hate-listen for me. I loved it in the beginning but popularity and sponsorship has made it feel inauthentic. HOWEVER, they still have interesting guests so depending on who they're interviewing, I will tune in. I enjoyed the Caroline Hirons episode quite a bit and was joyfully enraged by the Barbara Sturm episode because SHE IS FULL OF SHIT. Okay, there. I said it. Serums should not cost hundreds of dollars and her "science" is suspect. As a counter-point, I started listening to the Beauty Brains but they're such incredible wonder-killers that I just gave up.

Up First: NPR's early morning news podcast. It covers "the biggest stories and ideas - from politics to pop culture - in 10 minutes." I usually listen to it while I'm getting ready for work because it's just enough information without being overwhelmed with commentary.

Shedunnit: This is a podcast by Caroline Crampton (of SRSLY, my favorite defunct pop culture podcast) and bills itself as, “the podcast that unravels the mysteries behind classic detective stories." I like class detective mysteries but it doesn't matter if you aren't! She tells great stories, often about real-life cases that inspired mystery writers and it's, as the title suggests, very women-centric. A well-researched and comforting listen that I highly recommend.

LeVar Burton Reads: This is literally a podcast in which LeVar Burton reads you short stories in his soothing LeVar Burton voice. It's good stuff and if you were a fan of Reading Rainbow you will definitely enjoy this podcast. My favorite story so far is Chivalry by Neil Gaiman (from his book Smoke and Mirrors), which I highly recommend. Feeling stressed? Let LeVar read to you. I promise you'll feel better.

Articles of Interest: The 99% Invisible podcast created Articles of Interest, a six part series about all the different aspects of clothing. My favorite episodes are Pockets (a feminist issue!) and Punk Style. Just a really good series about the history and meaning of clothing.

The Cut on Tuesdays: A podcast by women, about women. Unfortunately they stopped making new episodes but it's still relevant and I love their How ____ Gets It Done series. (I suggest the Amy Sherald episode!) Also, it never fails to crack me up when they close with, "See you next Tuesday!"

The Penguin Podcast: This one is so great, you guys. Really interesting interviews with writers and in the earlier ones the interviewer is Richard E. Grant who I adore. I highly recommend the Kate Atkinson episode and Neil Gaiman is always a good time. Oh! And definitely listen to the Emma Kennedy episode too. Hilarious.

Marianne's Picks:

Thirst Aid Kit: At first glance this podcast is fairly silly, which is fine! Who doesn’t want to curl up with two hilariously smart women and talk about cute boys. But once you listen to a few, you realize that Bim Adewunmi and Nichole Perkins are giving a cutting commentary on the power of the female gaze.

Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend: This is hardly a little-known pick, but damn I just love it. Sometimes I find Conan to be a bit much, but his guests and staff are usually right there with me and reel things back in. Listen to the latest quarantine episode! It seriously made me LOL.

Armchair Expert: I know this is polarizing, I feel like people either love or hate this one. Once I stopped trying to listen to ALL of them, I got back into it. If you aren’t into Dax, check out the Monica and Jess Love Boys spin-off. It seems like a fluffy podcast between friends but quickly dives deep into topics like intimacy, addiction, and fear.

Bon Appetit Foodcast: I dip in and out of this one depending on the host and topic. I like that they are short and some of the BA folks are just so charming. It supports their magazine and YouTube channel, so if you like those and want more, check it out.

Mobituaries: This only gets a brief mention because I haven’t really started listening to it yet! I’ve only started the Audrey Hepburn episode. But the premise is great—Mo Rocca doing celebrity and historical obituaries in all his Mo Rocca-ness.

The Thing About Pam: I used to be more into True Crime but now there are SO MANY great podcasts that I decided I didn’t really want all that murder in my ears for a while. Maybe I’ll go back? However, I really loved this short, excellently produced story. Keith Morrison is so cheesy and really keep the story moving at a lively pace.

The Dream: Pretty sure we’ve talked about this one before, but it’s still great!

Stuff We Like: A Problematic Convo About Problematic Favorites.

A: I'm watching The Holiday and I love it except for one thing

M: I love that movie even though it is problematic

A: It's VERY problematic

A: Like, why does Cameron Diaz get Jude Law, but Kate Winslet gets Jack Black? How is that fair?

M: That is one of the problems

M: Also Cameron Diaz is a BAMF with an amazing career that requires being in LA but Jude Law is dreamy so whatever to that!

A: The English cottage is ❤️❤️

A: The houses are the best characters

M: Nancy Meyers, man. She's so good at that.

A: Cameron Diaz is punchable but I don't hate her? I guess that's her charm

M: I don't like her but it grates that she is at that height in her career but of course she's broken inside and horrible because that's how women have to be to be that successful

A: Ughhh

M: Not that I'm bitter

A: That is problematic and ridiculous, yes.

A: Kate Winslet is more my speed

M: She's broken too. But better.

A: But Jude Law. God, remember when he was hot?

M: Sooooo hot

M: So sparky

M: But Jack Black is a sad second leading man

A: Right? Unfair

M: His horrible singing

A: But Kate Winslet isn't a size 00 so that's what she gets I guess

M: Basically

A: Infuriating.

M: A sad black one piece swimsuit and Jack Black because fatty is a size 6

M: I still love that stupid movie

A: I love lots of problematic movies. Love, Actually is a feminist's nightmare.

M: That one I actually had to take a break from

A: The last time I watched it I was like, “…ohhh. No."

M: Yeaaaah

A: Jude Law. Charming af

M: It's the eyes. So sparky.

A: I could EAT HIM UP

M: Too bad what's her face stole his beauty

A: She DID.

M: Only explanation. Or a deal with the devil gone wrong.

A: That also seems very likely

M: 👹

A: Before:

A: Let that sink in

A: And after:

M: Yikes.

A: 😭😭😭

M: My favorite Jude Law:

A: Mr. Ripley! So beautiful.

M: Like staring at the sun.

A: Ridiculous. Nobody looks like that.

M: Goop too. Look at her

M: And baby Matt Damon

A: I like Matt Damon best in the Bourne era

A: Early Goop was great - Sliding Doors

M: Sigh, we’re old.

A: Shit, Sliding Doors was...NEARLY 20 YEARS AGO WHAT

M: Hi I'm an old dad

A: Hello!

M: I mean I'm an old mom, I'd hit it

A: My second favorite movie kiss:

M: Yessssss god I love that moooovie

A: Soooo much

M: His arrrmmmmms

A: Jack Black is NOT JUDE LAW

M: Jack Black is a scoodlydoo troll

A: Just FYI

M: Sienna Miller succubus!

A: Heh

M: Deal with the devil gone bad! What the fuck I am quoting myself!

A: Pretty much. I hate Jack Black in this.

M: Scoopdleydoooo

M: Hate

M: He's a turd

A: Hahaaa

A: Worst

Just a note: we are talking about the actors as related to the characters they're playing. We have no idea who's actually broken IRL. (Probably everyone.)
