Adrien: In-Between Weather.

Hello! So what the hell does one wear on a November day with a high of 75°? I decided the obvious choice was a summer dress and boots. The best of both worlds or something. Here's what I came up with:

It's not that exciting, but it worked for the weather. My dress is from Old Navy and they have a million dress options right now. This one is basically the long sleeved version of mine and this is a similar shape but with sleeves and a really cute floral print. As a fan of striped dresses, I love this similar (and more casual) Splendid dress and for work this Karen Scott dress would probably last longer.

I added an open cardigan by Philosophy for office warmth and I'll admit that it's not really adding a whole lot to this outfit. Still, I wish I'd bought this in every color when I found it at Marshalls. This one by Splendid is the ideal but it's not hard to find a less expensive version. Details:

I'm wearing my old Ann Taylor tassel necklace, which I've had for years. They currently have quite a few tassels necklaces right now and my favorite of the bunch is definitely this one. I'm also currently loving this one by Alexis Bittar. My bracelet is a Giles & Brother skinny cortina cuff (only mine is encrusted.)

I'm carrying my very old MBMJ Mag Bag which is a fun metallic neutral. I'm all about a gleamy metallic bag. This Kate Spade rose gold satchel is so pretty but the structure keeps it from being too girly. I also love Cambridge Satchel Co's new gold bags. It's really easy to get metallic wrong, but this inexpensive gold top zip satchel gets it just right.

I'm wearing my Loeffler Randall Matilde boots in Cuoio leather (bought via eBay) and I just love the color. Nine West has a tall cognac boot right now that looks pretty nice and you can't go wrong with Madewell boots. You just can't.

  1. I realize what I have to say has nothing to do with your outfit post, but I just noticed that Fidelity Denim is on Hautelook. I bought a pair after you posted about them and wear them a lot now. I love your blog, thanks for keeping it going all these years!
