Adrien: Cheap Fix.

It's been days and days* since I had time to actually do any in-store clothes shopping and I needed a fix but I recently made a fairly large purchase so it had to be something cheap. I find that sometimes just buying a little something fun is enough to quell the shopping beast, so today Kate and I hit up Old Navy. They apparently had $2 tank tops today but those were long gone by the time we wandered in. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, but I'm happy with what I ended up with. First, a coral top to try with that skirt I wore recently:

(the color is more intense and coral-y in real life.)

Second, a beaded tank top that I tried on a while back but didn't want to pay full price for:

Finally, I got a pair of basic bermuda shorts:

I know some folks are anti-shorts but if you live in the south you kind of have to have them. These are easy to wear, a decent length and I love the dove grey color.

I had a $20 reward card and some of what I bought was already on sale, so my total for all three items (and an impulse purchase sunglasses case that's not on the website) was $30! Not too bad for a cheap fix.

  1. I haven't bought anything at ON in ages, but I went in last week and came out with shirt number one in 3 different colors. Much cuter than it looks in the picture.
